AT A GLANCE
There is no single recovery timetable that fits every Ultherapy patient. Ask what visible changes or discomfort could affect your plans, how long to remain available for review and which symptoms need prompt contact.
Put the itinerary on the consultation table
A quiet day, a formal dinner and a long flight create different practical concerns. Give the clinician your actual dates and explain whether appearance, tenderness or access to follow-up would cause a problem. The manufacturer provides safety information, but a general description of downtime cannot promise how your own visit will unfold. Get instructions you can keep after you leave the clinic.
Questions to bring to your consultation
Use these questions to turn your interests into a specific discussion with your doctor. Keep the proposed treatment, the reason for it and the follow-up arrangements together in your notes.
- What reactions should I expect for the proposed area?
- What would be outside the expected recovery pattern?
- Who should I contact after hours or after leaving Korea?
Your questions
Does a low-downtime description guarantee I will look unchanged?
No. Ask separately about visible effects, how the area may feel and the timing of follow-up. A short appointment and a predictable recovery are different things.
