Risks and recovery
Fillers can cause bruising, swelling, tenderness, infection and lumps. Unintended injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, blindness or stroke. Seek immediate medical attention for unusual pain, vision changes or white, grey or blue skin near the injection site. Discuss product-specific risks and aftercare; do not assume swelling will settle before an event or flight.
Ask about alternatives, expected recovery and how to contact the clinic for follow-up. Treatment decisions should follow an individual medical consultation.

Are dermal fillers and skin boosters the same?
The treatment goal and formulation matter. A volume filler plan differs from a plan focused on skin quality. Ask your doctor what the proposed injection is intended to change.
Can every dermal filler be dissolved?
No. HA fillers may be treated with hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate, but correction has its own risks and is not guaranteed. Other materials may be difficult or impossible to remove.
How long will a filler treatment last?
Duration depends on the material, formulation, area and individual response. Ask for expectations specific to the proposed product and discuss how follow-up would work after you leave Seoul.
