Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) injectable medical device made by Galderma. Unlike fillers that add volume at once, it works gradually as the skin responds. Jcell’s Sculptra page describes a treatment of about 15 minutes after topical anaesthesia and usually recommends three sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart.
What is Sculptra?
In Korea, Sculptra is a tissue repair material for the temporary improvement of facial wrinkles in adults. Jcell says a gradual change may be felt from about 4 to 6 weeks after treatment. Because the plan usually spans several sessions, ask how the schedule fits your trips to Seoul and what happens if you cannot return for every session. Results differ between patients.

Risks and recovery
Swelling and bruising at the injection sites are common; Jcell says they usually ease within 2 to 3 days. The Korean product information warns against injection into blood vessels, which can cause tissue damage or vision loss, and says Sculptra should not be used while an infection or inflammation is active or in people sensitive to its ingredients. Tell your doctor about any history of keloids, hyperpigmentation or herpes outbreaks.

Can I plan Sculptra during a short trip to Seoul?
Ask before booking. Swelling and bruising may be visible for a few days, and later sessions need another visit to Seoul.
