What is Onda?
DEKA describes Onda’s Coolwaves technology as using 2.45 GHz microwaves, with handpieces intended for different tissue depths. Manufacturer materials discuss localized fat, cellulite and skin laxity. Those descriptions do not establish that every application or handpiece is offered at Jcell. A facial concern and a body-contouring concern require different assessments.

A useful consultation begins with your concerns, previous procedures and the time you have in Seoul. Consider asking:
- Is my concern related to skin laxity, localized fat or something else?
- Which area and handpiece are you proposing, and why?
- What evidence and local authorized use support the proposed treatment?

Ask your doctor to explain the device-specific risks of tissue heating, skin injury and unwanted changes to the treated area. Cooling technology does not make treatment risk-free. Share previous procedures, implants and relevant health information before deciding.

Onda: your questions
Is Onda the same technology as Ultherapy?
No. Onda uses microwave energy, while Ultherapy uses ultrasound. Treatment goals and tissue targets need to be discussed separately.
Can I book Onda for my face or body?
Tell Jcell which area concerns you. The clinic needs to confirm whether it offers the proposed application and whether it is suitable for you.
How many Onda sessions will I need?
Ask for an individual plan after assessment. A device name does not establish a standard number of sessions for every patient.
What should I include in an Onda enquiry?
Share your treatment interest, the area you would like to discuss and your travel dates. Request a quote specifying the area, planned visits and follow-up.
