What is Botulinum Toxin?

Risks and recovery
Jcell advises avoiding alcohol, smoking, saunas, Korean bathhouses (jjimjilbang) and strenuous exercise for one week after treatment. After jaw treatment, temporary stiffness or weakness when chewing can occur and usually settles within one to two weeks. With little cheek fat or reduced skin elasticity, reducing the jaw muscle may make the cheeks look hollow. Botulinum toxin products carry a warning that the effect can spread beyond the injection area: seek urgent medical help for difficulty swallowing, speaking or breathing, or for new muscle weakness or vision changes.
