AT A GLANCE
V-Olet is a deoxycholic acid injection made by Daewoong Pharmaceutical. In Korea it is approved to improve moderate to severe fullness from fat under the chin (submental fat) in adults. Jcell says the procedure takes about 10 minutes after topical anaesthesia and recommends 2 to 3 sessions at least 4 weeks apart.
What is V-Olet?
Deoxycholic acid breaks down fat cells where it is injected. Jcell says a gradual change in the chin line can usually be felt from about 4 weeks after treatment. Because the approved use is fat under the chin, ask your doctor whether your concern is fat, skin laxity or another factor before choosing a treatment.

Ask for a treatment estimate
Tell Jcell which treatment and area you want to discuss, and when you will be in Seoul. Ask for the amount in Korean won, what is included and what needs an in-person assessment.
Request a quote on WhatsAppEdit the message before sending. Your appointment is confirmed only when the clinic replies with availability.
Questions for your consultation
A useful consultation begins with your concerns, previous procedures and the time you have in Seoul. Consider asking:
- Is the fullness under my chin caused by fat, skin laxity or something else?
- How many sessions would you suggest, and how far apart?
- How much swelling should I expect, and for how long?
- Can the sessions fit my travel to Seoul?

Risks and recovery
Jcell lists swelling, numbness or a dull sensation, bruising and mild firmness after treatment, and says swelling usually subsides over about 2 weeks. A dull or heavy discomfort may last several days. Ask your doctor to explain the full risks in the product information, and tell them about your medications and any previous chin or neck procedures.
Ask about alternatives, expected recovery and how to contact the clinic for follow-up. Treatment decisions should follow an individual medical consultation.
