Read the actual document and ask about any treatment name, risk or instruction that is unclear. Ask who will perform the procedure and whether the written plan matches what you discussed. If translation or interpretation is needed, arrange it with the clinic before the appointment rather than assuming every document or staff interaction will be available in the same format. Do not sign merely to keep a schedule moving.
