Bring the names of your cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and any active or prescription products. Describe what improved the problem and what seemed to make it worse.
Does dry skin need assessment before an injection?
Persistent dryness or irritation may need assessment before a cosmetic treatment decision. Persistent irritation may need a different approach from a cosmetic concern about appearance.
Ask whether your daily routine or an underlying skin condition should be addressed first. Do not stop prescribed medication to prepare for a cosmetic visit without advice from the clinician who manages it.
What should I clarify if a skin booster is proposed?
A skin-booster proposal should specify the product, intended purpose, evidence, method, risks and alternatives. A skin booster is not the same as an everyday moisturizer.
Discuss allergies, previous injections and the recovery your trip allows. Agree on how the proposed result will be assessed and whether additional visits or costs are expected.
