AT A GLANCE
Anti-aging is a broad term. Choose the one or two changes that matter most to you and discuss their causes, realistic options and limitations before considering a series of procedures.
Build a plan you can understand and review
Explain what you want to preserve as well as what you hope to change. Give the clinician your budget range, travel constraints and previous treatment history. Ask which concern should be addressed first and how the response would be reviewed before another step is proposed. A longer treatment list is not evidence that a plan is better suited to you; each component needs a clear purpose.
Questions to bring to your consultation
Use these questions to turn your interests into a specific discussion with your doctor. Keep the proposed treatment, the reason for it and the follow-up arrangements together in your notes.
- Which concern should we prioritise and why?
- What would count as a useful and realistic improvement?
- Can we review the first step before deciding about later procedures?
Your questions
Does my age determine a standard treatment package?
Age alone does not establish the right plan. Your skin, anatomy, medical history, expectations and practical constraints are relevant to the clinical discussion.
